“Super Contemporary History as Liberal Education: What Global Elites Study to Understand Today’s World”

My new book, “Super Contemporary History as Liberal Education: What Global Elites Study to Understand Today’s World,” was published by “SB Creative” a influential publisher in Japan.

In this book, I suggest that around 2010 marked a major turning point in what I call “super contemporary history.” Since then, global dynamics such as the intensifying U.S.–China rivalry, Russia’s growing opposition to the Western order, and the rise of the Global South have become increasingly prominent.

To better understand these developments, the book looks not only at recent history but also traces key patterns back through the modern era and even to medieval and ancient times. By doing so, it aims to offer perspectives on the possible future of our world and of human civilization.

If the theme interests you, I would be very grateful if you had a look at the book.
